Top Books on Holistic Back Pain Remedies

Here are seven world renowned books on holistic healing that are based on the mind-body interaction. For most Americans, there is little education in schools about the mind-body connection. Many people have been completely healed by their chronic pain by coming to understand how the mind and body interact. These books help you understand that exact connection and how emotions mix with the physical body in a very real way. These books are empowering and well worth your time.

Louise Hay is a world famous author who helps people change their thoughts to heal their mind and body. She has many books published on the New York Times best seller’s list and has been helping people heal for a long time. She is an excellent coach and can help you unlock sources of tension while you retrain your brain to allow for healing. Check out her book titled, “Heal Your Body” which is available used on amazon.com.

Dr.Wayne Dyer is another extremely well know author of alternative healing remedies. He has a wonderful audio book titled “Secrets of Your Own Healing Power.” This is a recorded lecture to chiropractors about how believing you are healed is key to overcome pain and sickness. He recounts experiences with yogis and powerful individuals in the alternative healing world.

A third expert in the holistic healing arena is Dr. Bernie Siegel. He has many books on healing using mind-body awareness. You may want to check out, “The Art of Healing: Uncovering Your Inner Wisdom and Potential for Self Healing.” He also has books that are success stories of individuals that can help you believe in your own healing capacity through reading their experiences.

Dr. Deepak Chopra has many books published on quantum healing. He shares stories of seemingly miraculous recoveries of his patients that were given only months to live. He studies alternative healing and has published many books on the subject. A good one to start with is, “Quantum Healing: Exploring the Frontiers of Mind/Body Medicine.” You can always find these books used on amazon.com for next to nothing. Imagine finding your cure isn’t as hard as you thought. What if one of these books you are reading about today could unlock something in your subconscious mind that has been harboring tension and causing you physical pain? That is exactly what happened to me. I had been in unbearable pain, onset by an injury, for two and a half years. After doctors in the western medicine world failed to find the source of my pain, I was miraculously healed by reading a book. What a surprise after all that time of thinking I had some incurable problem that would mean lifelong pain (since top medical doctors had told me this).

The book that I found was called, “Healing Back Pain: The Mind Body Connection” written by Dr. John E. Sarno. After reading the book and applying the techniques of recognizing repressed anger, fear, and anxiety, I was pain free. It has been ten years since I have experienced back pain and I have shared this book with many friends who have also been saved by this new understanding. There is much to be learned about how much our emotions cause our body to experience pain. There is a whole department at the University of California Los Angeles dedicated to this research called Psychoneuroimmunology. This department has witnessed amazing results with fatally diagnosed patients. You can read about some of their success stories in a book called “Head First” by Dr. Norman Cousins or “Anatomy of an Illness” by Dr. Norman Cousins. What if you could learn how to release fear, guilt, and anger easily and find relief? That is exactly what saved my life and I have dedicated my time to sharing that opportunity to have my life back with others. Thank you for taking time to read this article and I hope you find these books extremely helpful.
